The state campaigns for President Barack Obama and Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney are hosting debate watch parties on the Peninsula for the two candidates' first debate.
The first of three presidential debates scheduled ahead of the Nov. 6 general election takes place in Denver Wednesday at 9 p.m. Eastern Time.
Both campaigns are hosting watch parties that are open to the public in Newport News and Williamsburg that are open to the public.
