Two days ahead of the Oct. 15 voter registration deadline in Virginia the Democratic National Committee is bringing its "Gotta Vote" bus and voter drive campaign to Hampton Saturday.
The DNC's "Gotta Vote" bus tour is designed to register peopleto vote and let them know they can vote absentee in person in the commonwealth at local voter registrar's offices until Nov. 3. Absentee ballots sent by mail must be received by election day on Nov. 6.

After coming through Hampton, the DNC bus will head across the water to Norfolk on Saturday. The bus will then continue traveling through Virginia through Monday.
As a key battleground state that is up for grabe in this year's presidential race, both the the Democratic and Republican parties are orchestrating massive "get-out-the-vote" efforts.
The DNC "Gotta Vote" bus has already toured other battleground and swing states like Ohio and Iowa.
