Republican Bob McDonnell and Democrat Creigh Deeds are sitting down for the final full blown debate of the campaign tonight in Salem, Virginia, but both candidates will hit the Peninsula later this week to speak with voters.
You can catch tonight's debate via live web stream from www.wsls.coma local TV station out in Roanoke, plus both McDonnell and Deeds will be on display at Hampton City Council chambes later this week.
Deeds will be in town on Thursday night from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. taking questions from a panel of moderators and probably a few from the audience during the Southern Christian Leadership Conference form. Meanwhile, McDonnell comes to town on Friday and he'll be sitting down for the same kind of give and take - only for a little shorter time from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Plus we've got some more prep work for you. Here's Republican Bob McDonnell sitting down with Joel Rubin. It's a pair of segments that total about 15 minutes.
And here's Democrat Creigh Deeds two-part sit down with Rubin.
