The 11:30 a.m. Nye-Drake update: AP declares Nye the winner
Although there are still two precincts that haven't reported their results in the 2nd Congressional District, the Associated Press has projected Democrat Glenn Nye as the winner over incumbent Republican Thelma Drake.
Nye has 123,699 votes (51.57%) to Drake's 115,786 (48.27%).
The 159 of 161 precincts reporting represents 99% of the vote.
Drake has not yet conceded.

Robert B. probably doesn't live in the 2nd, which explains why he couldn't vote for Glenn Nye.

Robert B., I'm not sure I understand your comment. You think Drake was worthless and say good riddance, but you could not vote for Nye? So did you vote for Drake, knowing she sucked? I certainly hope not, because thinking like yours could have kept her in office.

Congrats to Glenn!!
I met him this summer at Buckroe one Sunday evening.
Although I could not vote for him, I am glad that DRAKE is out of here!!
She was a real do nothing Republican hen who was totally worthless.
Good riddance.

What's holding up that last 1%? The polls have been closed for over 12 hours!
