Beer-drinking Catholic veterans for Obama
Dan Curran decided he wanted to take a plunge and vote Democratic this year. So he announced the change in a very big way by erecting several demographic targeted Obama signs on his lawn at the corner of Warwick Blvd. and James River Road. Curran, a real estate agent said that the signs were made first with a marker until an Obama sympathetic printer asked if he'd like professional signs done.
The signs read "Catholics for Obama," "Former Republicans for Obama," "Somalia Veteran for Obama," "Hispanic Baby Doll for Obama" and "Beer Drinking White Guys for Obama."
Curran said the signs were selected because he and his wife are former Republicans, his wife was in Somalia during the peace-keeping mission there, they are Catholics, he finds his wife--who is of Hispanic descent--attractive, and because he is a white man who enjoys beer.
The banners have caused quite a stir with the neighbors, some coming out in support, some against. Curran takes them down at night so they're not stolen or vandalized.
We'll let him explain:

Dude, It's "Right of way." And that stops with the sidewalks, bro.

Very nicely done. Good work Dan.
I too am white, a beer drinker, and a former Republican.
I don't vote for Republicans anymore. I don't like their policy of promoting warfare and allowing U.S. agencies to torture people in other countries. I couldn't believe Cheney said that waterboard torture is just a "dunking in the water". What has happened to America??? I now vote only for Democrats, based on their higher moral standard.

He forgot one sign.... "Clueless for Obama" but hey, "I don't think he's a bad guy!" Oh, and it looks like the wooden 4X4 sign post closest to the sidewalk appears to be on the city right away!
