No taxation without representation? Make that, without a vote

Rasmussen has an interesting poll out this morning (here's a link): 52 percent of the respondents said the federal government does not need any extra revenue for things like highway repairs or health care reform and 57 percent think all tax increases should first be approved by voters.

In terms of taxation and the presidential campaign, 48 percent said they would vote for a candidate who would raise taxes only on the rich, while 37 percent said they would vote for a candidate who would not raise any taxes.
