The prince of political punditry, Stu Rothenberg, has examined incumbent Republican Thelma Drake's re-election chances. He has issued a pronouncement.
"A headache for Republicans.''
She's a Republican.
Rothenberg now figures the Drake-Phil Kellam race is a coin-flipper, a toss-up. He had been rating the race as leaning Drake's way.
In a nationwide look at close-fought House races, Rothenberg is now projecting that the Democrats win 15-20 seats (up from 8-12 seats a few months ago) in November's election and take control of the House.
"Unlike previous election cycles, the onus is now on the GOP to save at least a handful of seats before Election Day,'' he said in his monthly political report.
Here's a link to Rothenberg's House overview, but you'll have to subscribe to see race-by-race details.

That's actually pretty smart. Good use of marketing and free media. You can subscribe to the RSS feed to know what he's doing, without paying anything. If people organize a bit, you can have several watching the Blogger feed and one who buys the subscription, and the freebirds can simply ask the subscriber to copy the content they want. So there are ways to get around that.

Funny. Rothenburg uses the free Blogger service to promote a PAID subscription.
