I WISH
I wish today's entry was going to be good...but it won't be. It is not my fault...okay it is no one's fault, things just did not work out as good as we thought they would. Basically...this blog is being run by one guy now: Chiraag Shetty, once that is over then this blog really is dead. You are not going to like the news today...but let's look at better stuff we can talk about...google's logo is about the 79th anniversary of the drive-in theater...79 years later and none are in sight...just wal-marts now...that is not very good either. Miley Cyrus is engaged...I am not feeling that either...maybe nothing is good today, but I still have to tell you anyway...do not shot the messenger....
NOT GOOD
I do not know who to start with, both soccer teams had the same kinda outcome, both by schools in Loudoun County...hmm...I smell something fishy!...No, schools up here where I am at, are just really big and really good at sports. Most of jv sports, varsity sports, and 9th grade sports! Loudoun County actually got goals by corner plays...they were a pretty legit team. In the first half Loudoun County scored 4-0, but in the second they only got 1 goal in...so our defense stepped it up...but we did not get any goals, so....it was not good. This was tabb's only blow-out this season, no other team has left us in this state, but Loudoun County will probably win states...so it is okay. Unfortunately, this kinda the end of the road now. The carriage is a pumpkin again...but in other good news: Grafton loss too, no york county is representing at Radford. Tabb girls soccer had a pretty fantastic season, only 3 losses, all pretty separate from one another, one tie, regional champs, 6 all-districts, 4 playing in college, and a state appearance...that is way better than last year. It will just keep on getting better each year...that is how I like to see it. Girls soccer is probably the most successful spring team sport. Great job last night and great job this season. Loudoun County may have won the game, but you girls won our hearts. Next year is our year!...start campaigning now!
Then there are the boys...it is hard to find his score...but I did...and you are not going to like it Like I said, teams up here are really good...like really good. Tabb boys soccer loss 4-0, almost like the girls score. Yeah...it was not really what we were going for. Even Maw got shut down and he usually gets a goal each game. It is disappointing, but this team did prove itself. I said girls soccer was the most successful team sport of the spring because the boys did start out so good. Many thought it was going to be like the baseball season, losing all those seniors, but boys soccer rose to the occasion and made it just one game away where they were last year. Unfortunately, there was no 2nd T-Day...just a L-Day...I don't know, Lame Day...Loss Day....it was still not a failed mission, all turning yourself around is something to be proud. You proved all the critics incorrect. Our boys has 9 all-district players, only 6 losses, a state appearance, and never loss or tied with grafton...that is some stuff to be proud of....also you guys had Adam Parker!! I am not going to worry about the team next year, even with no Adam, for I know tabb boys can achieve any goal they wish. Great job last night and great season this year...schools from Loudoun County suck!

RETIREMENT
Last night was the last Orange Army battle...not many can make it Chiraag's state match all the way near Blacksburg....but because of this and because he is a senior, the leader of the Orange Army and head of the Tabbsters had his official retirement ceremony last night after the game. He brought family, friends...and maybe even a girlfriend. He thanked us for the position, shared stories, gave advice for the future, but never announced a successor. We will not worry about that until the fall, there will be no battles in the summer...that I know of. Commander Curren dedicated his time in the service to the memory of Tom Malone and who did not make out of the army's battles. Where is Commander Curren going on? Nick will be attending Virginia Tech and doing their ROTC program....he really is becoming a commander! The Orange Army gave him good experience. The best of luck to Commander Curren and his future. Thank you for your years in service. Tabb salutes you. This blog will keep on eye out on who will be the next leader of the Orange Army...it could be anyone...just set a good example...and you never know this could be your retirement ceremony in a year...
Wow, Commander Curren, boys soccer, and girls soccer are done...all in one day...it is a tough day...but, hey spring sports banquet tonight at 7, so it is really over yet? and Chiraagth is tomorrow...and here is this year's literary magazine http://www.edline.net/ExtLink.page ...see it is not over yet..nope...but by Sunday...we're not there yet! Anyhow, good job to all teams, all selections, all leaders, everyone, you make tabb work. Again, it is not over, come back tomorrow to see what I mean...see you then...I hope...gone! Roll Tig!
Peace be with you.
