YOU GOTTA GIVE IT UP

I am not even going to start with an intro. There is much to get to...well kinda...but still, last night was quite an epic game in the realm of girls soccer. Remember that Caps hockey game last night? It was like that except minus an overtime and winner. Girls soccer did not win against grafton last night, but they also did not loss. The game ended up being a tie....like a 0 to 0 tie...for 2 periods and 2 overtimes. It was if not the most epic game of the year if not most boring! It was all about defense last night. They say it wins games and last night it helped us...not loss to grafton. There were numerous close calls, actually for both teams, but nothing seem to stick. Much credit goes to our goalie Kelsey the Hecker and our defensive line, Chandler the Handler Wingreen,Hollie Holy MacDonald, Haley Ill Mills, and Maverick Marissa O'Brien. Together they all form a monster, yeah we got a monster defense. The resultn is kinda bummy...but it is not a loss. That field really did become a battle ground last night....more so than any other game before it. Grafton really did prepare for this week, we most hand to them...but that hand will not be there for long...we'll be back...and the only tie that will be at that game will be fans wearing them or waving them...I do not know where I am going with that...but good job girls, it is still a good outcome. Next game is Friday, tomorrow, against warhill at home at 7:30, be there or be lame!

NOT TODAY

There are not sports game on today's schedule. It is the time of the year we can get two nights off of the week. Maybe it is not because of so few games or we are just cramming them into one day. Friday is a little packed, like it always is, but provides plenty of chances for people to see some action. And it is Friday...who isn't free on that ni-...okay I am speaking too soon, but it is Friday, y'know? Okay, here is a brief run through of what is going on.

• I mentioned girls soccer, so believe it or not, boys soccer will be playing too...but far away. How far is Warhill, really? I think it is close by the outlets...anyone still not interested in going? I am joking, the soccer game is just as good as shopping, I mean you pay a low price for somehing really good...a tabb win. I cannot promise a score will be posted, it was not last time...and that was a home game! This is the reason tabb will be going all out, double digit score. Admiral Adam and Sargent Sutton are letting the boys loose. You think Nicely plays nicely wait until tonight...and Harvey will cause some havoc...and the Q boys, together,...there is no chance. It is difficult not to enforce a full-ledge attack on team who has the word war in their name....so that is where are getting our inspiration from. Tomorrow at 7 at Warhill...who knows who will survive, so be there or be lame!
• It has been a winning week for softball and baseball...well as far as know just softball...but maybe baseball too, I am sure they ended up being just as successful. The question now is...can they keep it up? Can we finally get a back to back win? District tournament? These are just our goals, I always post them...but we did win last time, so....I think it is helping. We are playing lafayette, last time it was bruton, is ita Willimsburg base sport thing? We'll see...I think it is just a tabb being good thing! Baseball has the likes of the Piped Phifer, Shoeless Page, the Freak, the Buffer, and many more to make sure this streak sticks and softball has the Saint, Electric Ewton, the Bomber, the Blur, Knock 'em out Nicollette, and many more as well. We have our game plan, now it is just time to go along with. The season is not over yet, do not give up, tabb baseball and softball haven't...tomorrow at 4 at home, be there or be lame.
• The grafton week is not over...we have another game...or should I say games...or matches? Yes, tennis will be playing grafton. Tennis has not  had a good week. They were blown out at their last game...the tennis equalivalent of being blown-out...so it would be a definite confidence booster if we can achieve a win tomorrow...remember it would not just be a win...but a grafton win...it just adds a little extra. I think girls are away this time...it does not really matter, both are close to home. It is not just a regular tennis game, but a grafton tennis game...it is just the grafton thing that adds a little more significance to it. So come see some matches already. If you do you will definitely get some game point...tennis reference....get it? Anyhow, tomorrow at 4, girls away and boys at home, so be there or be lame...or I think I covered it all.
• I suck at covering lacrosse, I am just never sure when it is going on and scores posting are delayed...and I swear I discuss games that never go on...can we just make it a school sport already?! If you did not know Yorktown Middle's field has a giant hole or something on it, so the girls game was cancelled. The guys play at the sports complex I believe, so you can see them play hickory at 8. You will find out hickory is not as strong as you think. The boys have won all other of their games...I do not see why this will be any different? Tomorrow at 8 at the York County SportsCompex, yeah we have one, be there or be lame

I told you there was alot...but all tomorrow!...be there or be lame...I really can't say that for everything, no one can make everything...I never do...but I am at school...I am not lame!! No seriously!

CAT IN COURT

If you did not notice there was no Popcorn Picks this week. This is a reason for this actually. I always joke about animal working rights and all that...well Popcorn took that to heart, did some research, hired a lawyer, and is now suing me. First and for most I owe him some royalties for contributing to this blog. I have never really paid him before. Also, he wants health insurance, time off, a retirement plan...under the way I work him now I apparently treat him like an animal...which is inhumane in the work place. I am trying to settle a deal out of court...but I do not know when Popcorn's Picks will appear again...in fact I do not know if I can even write Popcorn's Picks...he is seeking ownership of the title. This is exactly like everyone warns you about...never hire your cat...they will end up screwing you over! As you can see Popcorn is not very happy with me...then again he was not to begin with anyway.

This is all I have. I have work to do now...no real shouties except good job girls soccer and have a good day all and I think that is it. I really do not have much on this closing paragraph, then again we did not even have an opening paragraph...so who cares?! See ya! Roll Tig!
