I GOT MIXED UP!

If you have not noticed, my schedule has been a little off...and I just realized why last night....I thought the Monday was the 18th...so girls soccer did play Monday and so did boys at Maury and last night boys played Nanesmond River. ..I think I just messed up with soccer, but I have everything straight now...just some results I owe you now! I am in college, I get as busy and confused as if I was back home...but today is the 21st! I got the correct. The games today are...well...you have to read in the entry! Trust me, they are correct! I just explained myself! I know this blog has been a little off...but now we are back on! Start your reading again...just see this entry...mistake free today...or let's  just see how it goes...

Though I did miss all those boys soccer games, no results were added anyway....so is my no mentioning may not have been that big of a deal? The games were far, well the girls was posted...don't accuse anyone of sexism, just yet...for I, personally, have the results...okay it is just stuff I made up, but it is better than nothing....when we finally get the actual results, we will see how they compare. Against Maury I say the team won about 4-1. Sutton sneaked about 2 goals and so di Maw. Evans got like 4 saves. Assists by Adam Parker, Q and 2 by Nicely, which was done nicely! (great name!). When it comes to Nanesmond River I am saying the team won about 3-0. The goals were done by Harvey, Maw, and Howell (or however you spell your last name.)...and assists by Sutton, Q, and Parker. Evans had about 3 saves too...and those were the two games we missed...who's results  I made up in my head, but desperate times call for desperate message. Hey, I bet I am close enough...I hope we figure out the score soon enough...but for now good job guys...I hope I was close enough to the actual score!

REAL RESULTS

These next few I did not make-up...they are not really the best...but are absolutely genuine. We found yesterday that Poquoson can still play some baseball...like really well. Both baseball and softball kinda have a similar score...which do you want first? I already have the baseball results opened, so we are going to post baseball results first! Yesterday tabb baseball scored the most points they have all season and they also let the other team scored the most points against them. The game ended up being 10 to 3...Poquoson. The stand-outs were Freddman you went 2-2 and Gore who went 1-2 with a RBI. Um...yeah, not really what I was expecting, but like I said, the most points scored all season. We can only go up from here! Let Poquoson have their sport, next game is New Kent, which will be a much easier game...it is a nice transition from playing a team like a Poquoson, so this was not the best game, we still have no wins, but that will change after Friday. We are calling it now…oh yeah like that Phifer homer…well that was different! I wish I could say better things about softball…but Poquoson showed why they are projected to be #1 in the district. They beat 11-0. I do not really have any stats because no one even scored….but not many cpay attention to stats anyway, so it worked out perfectly! This is like how  Jamestown was for baseball, Poquoson is just too good. We all kinda expected this…but it is okay, there are more games…like I said New Kent! It is going to be one winning Friday! So good job to both teams, do not let Poquoson let you down, sure our streak is not going as smoothly, but it doesn’t matter, just remember win or lose…at least we’re not from  Poquoson! Full sets of teeth here!

TONIGHT

This game is tonight! I am sure of it! It is on the schedule, someone else has confirmed it to me in email…so I am correct this time! Girls soccer are playing home…I know finally they have a home game!! First, soccer home game of the week…and this one is worth it! The girls take on our usually regional tournament rivals Courtland…except this is the regular season. We will give them a sneak-peak of what they will face in the post…if they make it that far even! They will be cougars out tonight…and when I say that I do not mean hot moms…that is Courtland’s mascot.  The only thing you have to do with cougars is bring ‘em back to the mountains. They may not like and put up a fight, but once you put yourself in the dominant position they will follow as directed….so as long as we win these cougars will return to the mountain side. I would not be worried, they are only cougars, not pumas or anything…wait is there a difference? We’ll see tonight. Our lion tamers are unlimited from Brew-Thru, Lex, B-Jazz, Chandler the Handler, Hulk Harold, Hawk Harmatz, F-bomb, and  so many more. We are pretty well stacked! Come see some big cats look like kittens (do not tell Popcorn!) tonight at 7 at home….I am right this time! Trust me! There are not many games going on at home this week, the ones that were, were a blow-out, girls soccer is changing the mood….so good luck girls soccer! Hopefully you can make it or you know what I say, be there or be lame!

OTHER HIP STUFF

388875_1646834862056_1572450351_31563338_653711086_n
There are a few other sports going on…that I do not have as much info on as others, but are still going, so will get the mention and some depth analysis. Who is going to help us? The Tabb Blog Hipster, of course! Lesser known, not as well followed sports…or just things in general, this is her wheelhouse! She is taking a break from listening to all those records, but seems to happy to be discussing hipser sports instead! She wants to let us know about another  home game tonight is girls tennis against Mathews….how much do I know about girls tennis?...not much at all…I mean seriously…your guess is as good as mine. You hipster?...this is just the first game, so she is leaning as well. I am just going to say Tabb is going to spike Mathews…that is a tennis term right? Not just a volleyball one? Well is Tabb is going to get the game point at least…like a win! So good luck to them. Also she says there is a boys lacrosse game today. You think once they made hr varsity, hipsters would disband, but they only appeared once and never again. They still have some hipster cred, but it is shaky…they keep getting better, so they won’t be hipster supported much longer. The team is all the way in Virginia Beach rescuing the princess…well they take on Princess Anne…so I guess they are fighting the princess? I guess she is tough or brainwashed! Whoever they are rescuing I know the team will be successful. They have won so much already and I do not see a stopping point yet. I know who a few players are like Trent Moon, Austin Hehir, Sean Stephens, David Gazerick, and many more…make the trip and see…okay it is kinda far, but is a win…sounds worth it to me! It is at 7 tonight, so be there…or well, if you’re not, it is a good excuse! But these are the other things going on today…like underrated thing go to see…you won’t be the only there…you got the hipsters and parents. Dare to be different…but not too different, that is  the hipster’s job! Good luck teams!  I'll let you know when I need anymore help hipster.

This is enough if you ask me. I got places to go, things to do, people to see…so let me do so…shouties wishing all teams luck and good job and great days and  new challenges all to come…1300 words! Jeez…okay we gotta end this! I will be here tomorrow, which is the 22nd, which is Thursday! See I am back on track! Stay with me! I am better now….at least for this week! Roll Tig!

Peace be with you.

On the first day the blog was written the Earth spun a perfectly straight axis.

WELL....

There is much to get to today and some stuff I left out from yesterday and stuff from tomorrow...so overall there is just a lot. We can cool out for a bit...so what is going on? It is the 20th...know what I mean? Because I don't...it is just the date...I am just making conversation! However, March is almost over. I can't believe it either...but April is a better month anyway, but June is probably better. It will all come around soon enough. I just give people false hope talking about June already! My cold opens suck! I just ramble, not much is structured, but you know what is? The rest of this entry...so here we go, check it out...by the way FIRST DAY OF SPRING!!! We are finally officially here! Good-bye winter, or in this year's case pre-spring, we can not actually call it spring! I cannot wait to see everything that is in store...especially in June...oh, I did it again! Let's just start this already...

MY B

I swear my schedule read there was no games on Monday. There are usually no games...but this is an out of district game, so I guess this is how Suffolk does it. The girls soccer game was last night at Nansmond River. Sure, you did not know about it, but were you going to travel that far anyway! It was a good game...good meaning Tabb won! Not really a blow-out, but a win is a win, last time I checked! It was by 2-0 with goals scored by Lexi Williams and Katie Harold, it is still a little early for everyone to have a nickname just yet...I am working on it! But yeah, girls soccer does it again! Cannot wait until district play...which will be another 2 weeks or so...but for the record and hold me to this the next game Wednesday, I believe this Wednesday, at home against Courtland at 7...so I think I got it right this time. Courtland is usually a pretty good team up there, but we'll let girls soccer be the judge of that. They will put those lions back up in the mountains! And this game is not far away...we finally got that home game! I did forgot about it, but our team still did pretty good...maybe that was the charm. Avoiding the hype and drama. Good job girls and also good job JV - they lost 3 to 1...but still played hard! I hope I got your game correct...but then again it may work out if I didn't!

TODAY

Though girls soccer played last night, we still have like 2 or 3 games going on today. Spring is such a busy schedule. Only the few and the brave and less occupied bloggers are able to do it. So we wil have a breakdown of all the events going down this afternoon...and there is more than one...so perhaps you could attend one....school spirit? I do not care if I hear it, how about you show it...oh wait, I'm not there...I have a valid excuse...anyhow, here we go...

  • Boy soccer - I hope I got this game correct. That schedule is difficult to read sometimes...but if I am correct, boys soccer will in Norfolk taking down Maury. They just got tired of all those paternity tests...oh wait, it is a school...still not the best name. It is Tabb soccer they always know what they are doing. They have class a leadership with Admiral Adam and Sergent Sutton along with Medal-winning Maw, Herald Harvey, Cadet Q, and there are more...and better nicknames that I can come up with...I am trying! It is a different Maury, but we did our on type of paternity test an the results have come back saying Maury is not the winner! Tired of hanging around Yorktown, then stop by Norfolk to cheer the guys on and also tomorrow they get a shot at the river at home...so good luck to them in all their games today and tomorrow.
  • Baseball - Jamestown is like the head of the district, York is close- by, but where is Poquoson. They once were kings, but I do not see it much anymore. This is a ball club we can compete with...in fact this was our goal: beat Poquoson in every sport this year, we have done a good job- they may have gotten us once, but technically we have beaten them in every sport so far this year...at least once! Let's keep up the tradition! Tabb has been doing alright, the last game we only lost by 1. Our players show promise, they maybe young, but everything will grow on them...not just the uniforms. It is the battle of victory blvd. again...will Tabb remain control over it, can we still dominate over this island? Stop by the school at 4 today. This is going to be a real game. Phifer is getting a homerun...I called it for him...don't disappoint! :) Good luck guys!
  • Softball - Poquoson might the top dogs when it comes to softball. They are suppose to be pretty good. What about tabb? Well, our girl sports are always underrated...who really expected anything from girls basketball or the few naysayers of field hockey, girls softball is under the same boat. They are ready to break out at game now...and what a perfect one to do so at. It is going to be an upset special baby!! St. John, Burnette, Murray...everyone else who needs anyone else? There is no Poquoson problem for Tabb, just a Tabb problem for Poquoson...I am getting my words mixed up...but you get it. If you do not like baseball, maybe you would prefer softball, which will be going on today at 4 at tabb, so make it or make yourself lame (different set up!) Much luck girls....get that big lead and keep it this time around

Why do I have the two stars from the musical on the blog after the musical is finished with? It has nothing to do with me apologizing more! I did see the taaped version of the play and I was indeed impressed. I have some breaking news, we are shooting a movie based on this blog this summer, I wrote it and it will probably released a year from now. I know Quincy and Emily, but I was not quite sure how their acting was, but after I saw them perform, just on video mind you, I knew they fit the bill. I flew them just 3 hours away to meet with me and it worked out perfectly. It has been agreed that Emily will play a younger version of myself. She such a good job playing a young lad, she can keep it up. Then Quincy got the bigger role, actually the biggest - ME! I thought about playing it myself, but I do not have much experience as an actor...Quincy has more than enough. I am still making cameos. Quincy said he will try to get me down as a character...we'll see how it goes. As of now Emily and Quincy have the largest roles - me!! Casting is still being determined, but when we figure everything out we will let you know. For now we at least have two good actors...and are looking for more!

I gotta go like NOW! So good luck to all again, good job at all again, have a good day to all again, and I hope I see you all again! This is really all I got...I hope I did better than yesterday or days past...but really bye! Happy spring! Roll Tig!

Peace be with you.

SPRING BREAK, YET?

Yes, I know I just had my spring break...but now I am concerned with you high school kids' break. During my break I still had to write this, but during yours I can get like a 10 day vacation! I enjoy doing this, it is  just that-everyone needs a break-I had my school break, now I want my blog break. So I am counting down the days with you...so what is it like 2 weeks? Bring it on...maybe 3...it'll be here before you know it! I think I kinda wasted my break, not doing much, so I am telling you now do stuff, even if you are even at home...or perhaps sometimes we all need to do nothing. Anyhow, spring break = 3 weeks? I may have been a little rusty lately on this, but nonetheless I am still around writing. I do my best work when busy, so stayed here because here we go....

ANOTHER BUSY DAY

Not today, but tomorrow. I really think that because spring is the last season of the year they just throw in every sport they can! I hear in the south they play soccer in the fall! It may just be every sport is divided genderly...but there are plenty of things to go see! Like I said soccer in the fall, not up here, though many consider Virginia as the south, but I do not think it has been since 1867! Well, we have soccer in the spring and both teams are playing tomorrow. Boys soccer is going to Maury, but not to receive a paternity test! No one is the father here, at least we hope not! Maury is a school not a trash show, tabb boys soccer is playing them tomorrow. No district play yet, but we just trying to get a platter of experience before we take on some BRD...and by that time we will be more than ready. I think we kinda ready now, Admiral Adam and Sergent Sutton have leading the troops successfully so far this season, if it has just been like 3 games, but one of those games was really muddy...so there is some experience there. That is not until tomorrow though, all the way at Maury will there will no cheating of any kind! 7 o'clock tomorrow. That game is kinda far, but then there is a girls game going on, but it is far away as well. Nansmond River, I think is closer. Maury is in Norfolk, The River is in Suffolk, they are like next to each other...right? There are so many games that have been away for girls soccer, it is unfortunate, but that means in the future there will be multiple home games, just wait for it. Patience is a virtue they say and that is a good thing. Also a good thing is tabb girls soccer. How are we so good? Well, when you can players like B-Jazz, Chandler the Handler, the O, Hawk Harmatz, Lexi Williams, Brew-Thru, and everyone else. I have more girl nicknames than I do for the guys at the moment. This game is not until tomorrow either. Mondays are always free, it is like we always have 3 day weekend, maybe not really. It is not the closet, but it on a river, so ride your boat there, I think that makes sense. There has to bee a water way connection, set up port and try to make the game. Tomorrow at 7, girls soccer is going to do more in Nansemond than John Bass did! If you like soccer, make sure to get out tomorrow, be there or be lame

STILL GOOD?

Poquoson? Are they still good at baseball? Yes, maybe like 3 years ago, but last year did not pan out like the previous ones. I would still not rule them out, but they are still as bi as a factor as they have been. Then again, Tabb is not quite either. The Tabb team is pretty young, like 2 seniors, probably the same number of juniors, and everyone else is either in 10th or 9th grade. We are the future. If we are not as good his year, wait a couple years and then we will be running year...it is just better to focus on this year, isn't it? Well, Tabb could run the show this year, I am calling an all-district status for the little giant Ben Phifer already and Buffkin. One step at a time or should I say one strike. It is another home game at 4, make sure you make it, if not that would be a bunch of bull! Like always when baseball plays, so does softball. These girls know how to get a big lead, but now just need to learn how to keep it. I am confident they have learn some over the practices they have had since the York game...so bad news for Poquoson! P-son is projected to take the district this year, but they have to get through us first. They may have good players, but none like Kayla St. John, Kimmy Burnette, Mur the Blur...and I am still working out nicknames! Anything can happen, we got the kinks worked out and are ready to play. Tomorrow at 4, parking is limited, you know Poquoson people will bring their trailers!

POPCORN'S PICKS

42d399ad94c0__1298651570000
Even when  I was home Popcorn wanted to be left alone...but forget that guy! He did not even pick last week...except his basketball tournament ones...which made his professional career become unrealistic fast! Then again, who saw Cincinnati or Ohio U or Lehigh (where is that even? Bethlehem...like Jerusalem?!). That tournament is too unpredictable even for Popcorn! Just stick to what you know Popcorn - eating, sleeping, and picking. Sorry, if everyone missed his picks last week, but now for the first time this season, Popcorn is back and stubborn as ever before, so without further adue, here are Popcorn's Picks Spring Style...

York 7   Smithfield 2

Jamestown 2   Pouqoson 1

Warhill 3   Bruton 1

Grafton 5   Lafyette 3

Tabb 100  New Kent 0

Somethings never change, no matter what the season is. Popcorn has been pretty successful this year. Maybe even with the horrible bracket he can be brought up to pick college sport, then again, he is pretty lazy...even for a cat

PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Reily Maw - for making 4 goals and an assist against Denbigh

Softball - for getting 8 runs in, maybe not a win, but those are still alot of runs!

Ben Phifer - for goign 2-2 with a run and a stolen base against York

Everyone involved with Mame (the musical) - It was a great show thanks to everyone involved!

Did I miss anyone? Let it be  known!

I really do not have anything special today, just these straight facts, it is a Monday also I will give everyone a break. I wrote also about games tomorrow today, so do not expect as much of an analysis tomorrow. I got class soon, back to the regular schedule...until mid-May. Again, not much going on today, so no real shouties are necessary...except have a good one...I always say that though, I need something new....keep it real?....keep it fresh?! It is all a working progress...like the entire blog! See ya around. Roll Tig!

Peace be with you.

DO IT ALL OVER

Neee

In the musical you never know who you will see...like two years ago the principal was in it! In this case, we worried how Steel Neil would survive without wrestling...and it seems as if he has found his calling. Or...maybe this is Stephen?...Anyhow, nothing, but rave reviews again for a Tabb musical. Jack has done it again. Quincy probably stole the show displaying such range, many did not even notice Emily was not even a guy in the real life...which is not a bad thing, but good acting. I keep hearing great things about the star Caitlin Cloherty. More success in drama, winning one act, musical star, it seems everything was just right. Did I see it? Aaah....okay, okay....I did not make the musical, for the first time in like 5 years I might add...I had like 3 things going on at once and I do no    t make decisions well and I opted not to go, I could not find anyone to go with anyway....but again I keep hearing good  things...so I did miss out, but I know no one else did....everyone caught a glimpse of this production. All I can say is I know it was grand time, tabb musicals always are...actors you can still live in fame, but there will be no more Mame, it is a shame, but still check out the tabb sports blog, be there or be lame...I am starting to write my own musical....see that is how I will make it up, I am casting my own show, you guys can be it...who said musical week was over? Okay, it probably is, but good job to all who performed, it meant something at the end of the day...wrong musical...still great job! St. Patrick's Day was rockin'....I don't know where that came from...but that is my absence excuse.

RESULTS?

I have more results to a musical I did not attend than a game I did not attend....which kinda makes sense? Well, no results were posted, which is weird because the game was at home...these lacrosse games can be as far as North Carolina, but when it is just up the road, we have nothing? I have no idea if First Flight was able to take off again? It is one of those many times where I have to make stuff up...which I am really good at! Sourcing information is just a dumb thing to do! So I will say the girls won like 14-3, that is the usual score they get in these situations. It was Wusked a couple of times, got some Bourgeosis on it, doesn't the Great Oak play too? Shingledecker, we are still learning names. They do not put full names up, bust first and initials, it doesn't help! That site needs some help, no results, no full names, come on now! I have at least have stuff like that even if it is made up!....well, everyone got a hit on the ball in if you ask me. The score was 14-3.....that is my story and I am sticking to it....unless someone knows the real, actual results. I know when the next game is not until next Saturday against another 1st team, First Colonial, which does not make sense because they are like south of us and the first colonial settlement is like Williamsburg. That came is away too....so will we even have the results? I have a strange feelin'...yes...whatever went on, good job girls, and I am sorry this blog has been so crappy today...it is not you, it is me, or your webmaster.

SCHEDULE

I did not have the best Tabb events week...I mean look at how many I attended...I just did not know what was going half the team...even though I am the writer of the schedule on here....okay, I got busy and procrastinated, so what's up with you? But, I am here to prove this week will just as jam packed as last week. There is still plenty of opportunities to see certain sports, events...but no musical :(  Nonetheless, let us see what else is available to entertain us this spring...and maybe it includes some song and dance even (No!)

MONDAY:

TUESDAY: Boys soccer AT Maury at 7; Girls soccer AT Nansemond River at 7; Baseball and softball vs. Poquoson at 4

WEDNESDAY: Boys soccer AT Nansemond River at 7; Boys lacrosse AT Princess Anne at 7

THURSDAY: Girls soccer vs. Courtland; girls tennis vs. Mathews at 3:45; Boys Lacrosse AT Bishop Sullivan at 5

FRIDAY: Baseball and softball AT New Kent at 7; Boys lacrosse vs. Poquoson at 7

SATURDAY: Girls lacrosse AT (Or somewhere near) First Colonial at 12

This is our packed schedule....there is never much to do on Mondays...but for the rest of the week there is plenty to do. Do not be insecure or fear, they are fun and you will meet people you know there...so do not waste your week and go out there and do something! By the way....spring break is soon right? 2 weeks....please tell me 2 weeks!!

A SPECIAL SHOUTIE

Joey
Here is a special shoutie to Lt. Marongelli, who at one time was in the the Tabb area, but is stationed in Daytona Beach. He is one of our fans of the blog and reads it whenever he can. It reminds him of home. He sent us this picture. In it to show his appreciation of this blog he grew something for us...see that mustache?! I know it is awesome...at least we can got him following the rules! Marongelli has said it make him look older and his officers respect him more. See what all a mustache can do! Much appreciation Lt. ...hope to see you around here soon enough! By the way March is not over yet, there is still time to grow a mustache, two weeks can do it. This guy does not even live in town and he grew a mustache, so what does that say? He is fighting for our country too...not really...I am just guilting you into a mustache...more stache action until the end of the month...even the return of old faces that seemed lost...not saying anything...but thank Lt., wear it proud and hopefully everyone will do the same already!!

Yep, this is where we go our separate ways...no really...I am going back to school today and I do not know when I am coming back...mid-May? August? It could vary, I was not around as much as I usually am, but  this blog was, just think of this as me...though it literally is! But again great job musical, I have heard of so many legs in casts after this weekend, a big what up to Lt. Marongelli, good  job girls lacrosse, and see you next time I am back which will be.....just have a good one for now! Roll Tig!

Peace be with you.

ALL ABOUT THE GREEN!

Sbit
Kiss him, he's Irish!....or at least has orange hair...yeah, I really do not know the ancestory of Striepe...but on March 17th, Red is the best thing we got for a mascot! As you can see this is the one day in the year where chicks actually dig him...but come the 18th, it will be as if this day never existed! The one day we accept red heads! This blog is giving out virtual pinches, well the one my mom got was not virtual...but yeah, I am that guy! If we were catering we would have some corn beef and cabbage too. I can only imagine what type of ground will show up to the musical tonight! In reality, maybe this day is not as cool as it is made out to be. Do not feel left out St. Patrick was from like Spain, so today is like pre-Cinco de Mayo, almost! I guess it is time to name this year's favorite Irishmen. Last year it was Marty O'Brien, a big time newspaper journalist. This year why not go with someone close to Tabb?...Super star wrestler, Jacob Rose, he does have orange hair. Congrats to this year's favorite Irishman and have a happy St. Patty's Day, try to remember it this year...and yes my criteria for if a person is Irish is just orange hair.

I WAS OUT

I was out to the ball game that is. Yesterday Tabb baseball took on York for the home opener...and despite our new team being mostly underclassmen, they stacked up pretty well. ...It was still a loss...but it was close throughout. The game ended up being just a 2-1 loss. The secret weapon, still, was Ben Phifer, the Piped Phifer, the little giant, he stood tall going 2-2 witth a run and a stolen base. Those are Tabb hall of fame credentials. Though Tabb never ended up tying or getting 2 more runs, I think the guys played pretty good. They just fell short a couple of times. This is alot better than an 8-0 loss or something like that...so we can say improvement! Buffkin pitched pretty well also and close Preston Norris ain't too shabby either. Since I have been doing this blog I have realized many teams get a slow start...look at basketball, started not the best, but ended up regionals. Baggett spirit in this sport...so give it time and it will show. It is going to be buddy ball again, buddy ball like 'Hey buddy!', we can't call it Baggettball! Things will get better....but...for now good job baseball and keep up the good work....and new goal: start Bruton's winning streak back up again.

I SHOULD HAVE

I should have gone to the softball game instead, no offense baseball, but softball was big hitting, high scoring, close game. The bad news of this story is, it is a York triumph. Not because they won, but because how they did it. Tabb had been booming from the very beginning. In the 1st and 2nd we scored 4 runs, but then in the following innings we did not score anymore, which would have been fine if York did not score any...but they did. There was a point where they were 8-1, but by the end they were up 9-8....and won. It was a tough day for tabb sports, yesterday! The girls did score more did they did in the first game. They improved too, all we need now is to learn how to hold on a lead. It was not the best game, maybe it was good I was not there....though I did have my earmuffs, bt many players hit the ball well, Kayla St. John 3-4 with a double, 2 runs, and a RBI and Murray went 2-4 with 3 RBIs ...I do not know if that all stats, the paper usually just publishes the "stand-outs ..so I am sorry if I did not get your name. Losses like this builds character and helps people learn...and I know the coach will not let this happen again! It does suck, but we are improving, better will come...good job...my luck should've been there!

There he is our official Tabb Blog singer, Josh Williams. It was has been like a month, almost, and finally we have a winner. Once again I did not have to make a decision! Everything worked out for the best! I hope you like Josh's voice...because it is all we are going to be hearing his voice. How did Josh win? Well, he won...kinda...it is still a win! No one voted yesterday, it was just a tough decision to make, no one wanted to. Then something unexpected occurred....Rick took himself out of the competition. He is just too busy to be our official singer. Him and the Time Machine are starting their tour in May, he is recording his new solo album, composing commercial music, MCing bar mitzvahs, and still trying to get a degree in something. Rick helped make the decision for us. There is no harsh feelings between either, in fact, look for special appearances from Josh on Rick's tour, an album appearance or even an album together...it is a good partnership going on...and Rick will appear every now and then...but for singing it is all Josh. He is taking request always...he will be singing non-stop now...or until June. I think his own composition did it for him, he was always a fav. Well the people have spoken, kinda, and Josh is our new or first Tabb Icon! Congrats!

Today at 12:30 girls lacrosse are taking on First Flight. They are going to have a crash landing. Those wings are not going to be fixed, girls lacrosse are taking control. Today at 12:30 at Yorktown Middle School...the Greatest Show with Netted Sticks...it kinda works. Also, it is the last night for the musical at 7:30. It will be a shame if you miss Mame...I may be there...may...I will try!  The last night is always the best! Trust me! For now good luck girls lacrosse, good job baseball, softball, and Josh, have a good tour Rick, and everyone have a good day. I will back here and tomorrow and Fairfax :( ...gotta go back! But I still may see you today...maybe...we'll see...that is it...wow, not 1000 words today...wait nevermind. Well okay bye! Roll Tig!

Peace be with you.

ONE ON FRIDAY

Yes, we finally made it to the end of the week. It did not seem too bad this time around....it depends on how your week actually...mine was not too bad. I've been back all week, and only got to see one game, I opted not to go last night, it was a little too wet for me...there should be stuff going on today, so perhaps I'll see more. So what more do you want? Good weather, friday, some games, musical, weekend, college basketball, I am still here, and...it all sounds good to me! I will start this already just for you guys....

WET, BUT...

There was a mini-storm last night, but tabb boys soccer waited it out and I think about an hour later the game was on....I will be honest...I was there, but then I left because it was a little too wet for me...but I feel bad that I did so because there is no score available for it! I knew I should have stayed! Everyone thought it was off...it was lighting and stuff....my b! I am sure the guys did well. I heard Adam Parker say he was proud of them...so does that mean a win or a very close lost? In situations such as these I just like to predict the scores...I am going to say tabb went into overtime with Landstown and won it 3 to 2, there were goals by Sutton!, Harvey, and the ot winner was Maw!. I think my predictions are alot better than how the game was probably. I really missed an opportunity being in town and all...if this happens again I will have to write the same way because I am like 3 hours away!! It was just weird night for me...the rain throw me off and I gotta finish this essay some time. I know the team did good...and will continue to do so. What more can you ask for? the actual score? Shut up! It maybe better if we didn't know it...but if I am right or if I am wrong, still a good job guys...and better coverage next time...be there in spirit!

I THINK

we are still on today for games. It did rain a little bit last night, but like an hour's worth or even less. I do not think the fields will be too messy. There is no word on the matter....so I believe everything is on! And it is a good thing...it is a big day for baseball and softball. Only the second game of the season and now we are playing some rivals. In many cases York has been a better challenger, maybe not as much this year, but these games are always exciting. I believe we here at Tabb ended their season last year. Jamestown ended ours and then they came back and destroyed us this season...so by that logic our baseball team is going to win 11-0. I am still not to keen on the names yet...I know Matt Dupree is someone to watch and Buffkin is our top pitchers (The Buffers are not gone yet!), Hot Scott...and once we actually score some points, names will be printed in the newspaper...and that day will be tomorrow. It was a rough start...but now we have a team that not as good. It is only York, by today's standards they are the wannabe Grafton, and yes I know York existed first, they are old! Today at 4 at Tabb someone will struck...out that is, be there or be lame!

Then there is softball...maybe they do not have quite the story baseball does...but they did have a better start than baseball did. Yes, they did not win, but they did get on base! By the way it was Brittany Barrett who went for 2 for 3 last game...but Kimmy scored as well to, so I was half right. Um...what else there to say about this game, though? It is at home also at 4...I found out last night, that baseball and softball are not two for the price of one. So why choose softball? They have been doing better than baseball...yes by two runs...okay let's not start beef with her own teams! It does not matter...it is mainly, who would you like to see win more...does that sound good? Softball fields are smaller, things go by quicker, plays have to be fast....so the game will be over before you know it! Then you can go see it baseball and by that time they probably won't be charging anything...I am just throwing ideas out there. The games are just like baseball, people can be thrown out...so how about we make it interesting?...just ideas again...things should end up good...falcor will be no more (falcor is like a super falcon)...again at 4 at tabb, be there or be lame!

POPCORN'S PICKS

Hhhhhh
Popcorn did not want to do any picking this week. He wanted his own "spring break"...but long and behold he has been picking this entire time.  Just because it was not for tabb does not mean it does not count as picking. Has Popcorn's "job" helped him in braketology...um...let's look at his picks. Ow...Davidson in the final? Really, Popcorn? Third year in a row? I think that pick alone just destroyed your bracket completely! Harvard? Long Beach? It looked promising...but no cigar. It is not time to bring Popcorn up to college sports yet. I hope the spring does go well for him. It is a little late, but if you think you have a better looking bracket than this, challenge Popcorn! Best bracket wins....something. No one will have a perfect one, I had a perfect within the first six hours then it went downhill fast...but yeah, Popcorn's "break" did not help him that much performance. He is back on Monday.....just in time for this new season of tabb sport...okay a little late, but he is a cat...y'know lazy! And yes the only reason Popcorn picked Syracuse to win it all was because they are orange too!

TABB ICON

Rrg
It has come down to this...who will be the Tabb Blog official singer. It has been a month long competition and now here we are....votes are o longer accepted. The spent we counting them...and actually came into a dilemma. It is a straight even tie! Nothing has been solved! Was this a waste?! So today and today only voting polls are opened...but just for one vote, that one vote will decide who wins this month long competition. So vote as soon as you can before it is too late. Tomorrow we WILL have the final results. So stay tuned and stop by and find out if Rick or Josh will be your next Tabb Icon!

I hear the musical was good, continues tonight at 7:30 and tomorrow as well. Also, lacrosse scrimmage for the boys tonight and game against first flight for the girls tomorrow. It is going to be crash landing! Good job soccer, good luck baseball and softball...and what else can I say? Have a good day to all. I am going to get on going on because I need to...so see ya! Have a good one, be back, you know what I say! Roll Tig!

Peace be with you.

ONE BEFORE FRIDAY

That is tomorrow...but it already feels like it is here! I want this week to go by as slow as possible...I do not want to go back to school! The next couple days at tabb we actually have some stuff going on galore, like everyday there is something for you, like there was yesterday...in fact almost this entire week has brought us a little sport to see...or maybe something more. The spring season is here indeed. And it is March 15th...a bad day if you are a guy named Julius, a happy birthday if you are a guy named Andrew Jackson, and a happy anniversary if you are my parents. That's about it so...how about we just jump right into already and see what awaits and what has already occurred in tabb sports!

NOT GOOD, BUT...

I do not have much baseball stats from yesterday because...well there are none...Jamestown threw a no hitter and Tabb did not. It was 10-0 as the final score, which may seem bad, but if you think about it, Jamestown has one of the top programs in our district and even region. They are good, it is not like we lost to a team that was not good. Granted, a few hits would be nice...but it is only the first6 game. Players have to get back in the rountine and realize what is going on. So far, Tabb baseball has 0 runs and I think 0 on bases, but Jamestown did pitch a shut out. Let's not worry about some good team...we'll see them again, and then we will shut them out...just think that way and it will happen! But Friday is the home opener and against York...who were good last year until we came! I see this being a more promising game, it is on our turf and all. Disregard, this first game...it was a heavy burden having Jamestown as the first game of the season...but we move on. I hear falcon is alot easier to kill, not literally or anything, so the 2nd game is actual first game, tomorrow at 4 at Baggettfield (home), be there or be lame!

Softball did not favor as well also...but they did get some runs in, not to rub it in guy, but it was not really that close. Jamestown got a lead to begin with and Tabb really caught up. My results do not tell me exactly who got the 2 runs, Kimmy Brunette went 2-3, so I think she may have gotten one...and that is all that is really known about softball. I use the same excuse...whoa, did I say excuse...I meant circumstance...just a bad situation....Jamestown is just too good, I hate to be saying, but other explanation is there? Tabb softball will still end up being one of the best teams out there....but it will just a take awhile to get the gears running. Basically, all of this is the exact thing as the boys except softball had a better start by actually scoring some, again not to run it in, and also they play York tomorrow at home. It is time for the good stuff...some rivalry action...so like I said before, this should end up favoring Tabb alot better, then whatever they are doing at Jamestown, drug testing anyone...okay too much, they be just good...but tomorrow at 4 softball will put the dork in york...wait it is already there...be there or be lame!

The results of the girls lacrosse game is not posted, but the boys are...which is strange, considering  the boys were all the way in Chesapeake while the girls were just 2 minutes away from the school! Girls lacrosse get the short end of the stick again...for that I will say they won like 31-0, I do not think there is any mercy rule in lacrosse. Blame my essay....without it I would have gone...but it had to be done! I blame myself for not having these results, sorry. The boys won 13 to 3 over Grassfield. The scorers are never really written down, so I never quite know who scored, but 13 is a hella lot, so I always like to say the whole team did, it is a team sport and all. Well, good job to all involved. There is a game tonight, well it is a scrimmage against Waslingham, but still some lacrosse action, which is at home. The next home game for the girls is Saturday against First Flight...it is home, so you do not have to fly there to see...results person! We'll see how it favors for me...but for now good job to all...and let me know if I am doing good with these lacrosse write-ups...it is not my best sport to cover, I know...

TONIGHT

I know finally tonight! Look how much we had to get through to get here....there is another soccer game...two home games in the same week, my spring was so lucky!! Tonight we are playing against Landstown....whom (Did I use that correctly...or is it who? Either or, right?) I hear is a bit challenging. That a Virginia Beach team, they are always pretty good down there for football...well that is American football, but still I expect top notch playing from a team from that area. After one game the real top story is Reily Maw, he made 4 goals and one assist last game. He is maw-some, maw-mazing, maw-illant...okay that last night did not work as well...also, the two captains Adam Parker and Sutton Nichols, our goalie had multiple saves last game, the first goal was by Havoc Harvey-watch out for him, the Q, Nicely always does i nicely...so there was alot of showing last game...yes it was only Bethel, will it b as good of a game for tabb as it was last time? Sounds like someone found a reason to attend...tonight at 7 at home, someone is going down, is it the team with the rhyming name or....well there is no one else, so be there or be lame!

MUSICAL

I know it is tonight, I have had some much stuff going on, I have almost forgotten, but starting tonight and ending Saturday, tere is a show every night at 7 - tickets are like $6, $8, $10? I wanna say...they buy in advance...but trust me, they will be at the door, not the best seats, but you can still see them. So...musical people are busy...I could not really get ahold of them for this week...but I do have something for this blog....yo, a sneak peak at it...some photographs showing you how it will be like...are they an exclusive?...not really, just screenshots from a trailer for the musical that I cannot upload to this blog...but it is better than nothing...

Qunicy! Clip_image002

the star of the show! Clip_image002

Emily as a dude!Clip_image002

Is this good...all of these pictures will make some sense if you go out to see it tonight...or the next two nights....and all shows are at 7:30, is there anything else you need to know about it? I think I covered everything, I am singing as I am writing this, so give me some credit there! Anyhow, good luck to all performing this weekend!

That is it, I must be going there is much to do...no seriously for me, so good luck to all who are playing tonight whether it be soccer or singing or dancing and good job to all who played whether you won and lost...what else is there to say? ...except bye and be here tomorrow for some more sweetness...I got some bball to watch, so if you'd excuse me I am heading out, be back tomorrow....with surprise?! You know I never tell! Roll Tig!

Peace be with you.

IT WASN'T ME!

I mentioned the rain yesterday after it happened...it was raining while I was asleep...I did not even know it went on...I thought it was coming. Therefore, I did not jinx anything. We have games today now due to cancellations because of wet fields...so the rain made wednesday even better...right? Sorry girls soccer, no make up game for them. This is kinda late, my lap top decided to restart and not save a thing...it does suck...2nd time a charm...wait it is third...no starting over again, please! I have other stuff to do today...like essay writing...before I discuss slave relations in the south, how about we discuss tabb sports...so here we go...

LAST NIGHT

100_1318
During spring break you never know who will show up...last night two greats from last year did, Dominant DiOrio and Seanaldo (wearing some green shorts), Both are doing good and were pleased by the game...especially because tabb won 7-1! It was like 3 - 0 in the first, so no mercy rule could apply...this time...it is the boys soccer you remember...except a few familiar faces. Ben Harvey (workin' on nickname) got the first goal, Sutton!, Hollowell (like the word hollow, kinda..) and Reaily Maw proved he lived upto the nickname Maw-some by making 4 goals! Assists were made by Nicely (done nicely!), Nichols (Sutton), Fitch (like a bird...oh that's a Finch...so nicely too...abercrombie...get it?), Quesenbury (the new Q!), Parker (my main man), Maw (4 goals and an assist, MVP!), and Hollowell (still do not know how to pronounce that name!). Tyler Evans got 3 saves. It was a good start to a new season...cannot wait for more games to come...will they be as good? We will  have to wait until they have to play a Williamsburg team...but that is not until awhile...so do not worry now. Tabb boys soccer is as good as they have always been...they lost like 12 guys? It did not show...did you miss the game...well they play Landstown tomorrow...they can keep up the good fortune? I did hear Landstown is a bit more challenging...we will see. What are you doing? Not much is going on and I am telling you this time is bringing the excitement this season...you are lame if you are not there.....see I did it backwards this time...anyhow, great job guys!

TODAY

Girls soccer was cancelled and there is no word on a make-up, but they play again on Monday. Baseball and softball were rescheduled for today and what a nice day for it. It is dry also, so it is a great day overall. We all know the story here, I have been discussing this all week, Jamestown ended our season last year. Is it a pay back opener? I do not see any grudges  here, but it is an interesting game. Also, it is the new coach's debut game. Baggett is a big name to live up to, but a win will make things look promising. The softball story is just a bit unknown...I just do not know how they will end up doing this season. I an predicting better last season. They are going to be the wildcard, the team that no one sees coming and is able to beat anyone they can. Kayla St. John should add more success to her career and I think most of the b's are here...so things should be good. And we'll see the new kids on both ball teams...many answers will be given and new ones will be asked, we will just have to wait. I have been talking about this all week and I have nothing new to say...except that's play already!! Today at 4 at Jamestown, not all eagles fly away home, it is all finally happening, take yourself out to the ball game, be there or be lame...did it right this time...good luck guys.

Also, there is another game going on today...well...games, but one sport...lacrosse...technically two sports. You know men and women sports are different, but lacrosse is still going on. The boys are the ones who are away at Grassfield. I found out where it is at, Chesapeake, so it is kinda far, but boys lacrosse are doing good this game, though it has only been one game that has been played....we will see if they live up to their success. There is a guy on the team named Trent Moon, which one of the coolest names I have ever heard of...there is also Hehir (pronounced hair), Sizzlin' Sean, and more, come out and see. It is at 7 so leave like at 5, make sure to make to not be lame, but be there, kinda opposite again, but good luck guys! The girls play a more interesting game, it is against Poquoson, so it is like a rival game...almost. The girls have been playing pretty well too...but no newspaper coverage (except here) If they win big enough in hometown brawl they could get alotta attention...the attention we know they deserve. I don't know what will be going on at this game...except Wusking...and we'll see what else goes down...today at 6:30 at the complex. Good luck girls. Everyone make sure you are there or you'll be lame...you get it.

100_1309
I think it is the class of 2013, that started to bring a couch to sporting events. That idea is so creative and original...oh wait...that was so six years. The class of 2009 (represent!) started that idea, but our couch had a little bit of controversy to it. We originally bought it for a classroom, but some administration found not a piece of comfort not education, so had it removed. Our couch still stayed with house and was present for sport events. However, we had no storage place for it. No day in search for a place, we left outside over a weekend, a weekend that brought a downpour and so the couch was destroyed. There was no way to fix it...by that time our dream was dead...until last night. Okay, it is not an original idea by the class of 2013...but it is starting the tradition all over again. After long couple of years where it seemed the couch was a thing of the yester years, the idea is back. It is not as good as the one from before...but wherever that couch is now, I am sure it is happy another is taking his place at last. Here is an approval from the class of 2009, you guys are shaping up to be one cool ass class! Let it all be known, the couch, finally! I do not know about classrooms, but you can see on the field like you did before...and it is not 2007! Tabb is becoming what it was once. The couch has made its return. The legacy lives on!!

I got it right this time. I am not writing this again! Good luck to all players today, making the first game count, I am glad to see the couch, and have a good break to all past stars who are on spring break. I gotta start doing some work besides this...so let me go and have a good one. It is really nice out, if you have no games you wish to attend, still go outside for crying out loud...unless you have essays :(  ...I gots ta go...so bye! Roll Tig!

Peace be with you.

RAIN?

It is dark outside. I do not quite know the forecast...I am too lazy to go over and turn on the weather channel or just search it here online, but word of mouth and observations tell me that precipitation is a possibility. Do we need rain? Has it been dry down here? Goodness, this ruins everything! The opening of spring sports will be delayed. We want the season to be here already!! As of this morning we are looking at no rain...but the day is long. No one jinx it, I feel I am in trouble by just mentioning it...so no more talk of this rain...maybe we will get lucky! ...but do not blame me if it does start raining!

BIG DAY

I said actual games are going to be played....and who will be playing...like 4 different sports....unfortunately for this season beginning a majority of games are away...like 40 minutes or so away...but if you want you can go...I mean this blog is certainly not holding you back....so let's trace our steps farthest to closet

Girls soccer is all the way at Great Bridge...which is like Chesapeake or Virginia Beach or in between those two...Norfolk....it doesn't matter where it is, unless you are going, but you can look that up!, what matter is girls soccer is playing a game. It all starts here, this team is projected too do alot. They beaten opponents in their scrimmages 5 goals or more. There is no one main star player...everyone on this team can shot, assist, defend, block, and all those other soccer terms. It is early, but I see this team representing Tabb in the state games....but, yeah, too early to mention...I hope I did not jinx anything! We have B-Jazz, Hawk Harmatz, Lexi Williams, Crow...and I am still working on names, but they will start getting familiar once these games start kickin' in, which they start today...so, yes, Great Bridge is out, but you will get to see tabb girls soccer play...so worth it? It compensates for the gas...almost.....but tonight at 7 at great Bridge, tabb girls soccer plays them and shows they are not so great, be there or be lame. Good luck girls.

Now we are going to head up north, skip over tabb for a second, go up to Williamsburg and stop next door to Jamestown. That is where baseball and softball are playing at.  Baseball probably has the bigger story. Us and J-town met in like the regional quarter-final....or something regional, maybe semi, and jamestown beat us, advancing further, it may have been states, anyhow...that was the last time we played...in the playoffs. They ended our season...so it is time to end theirs on the first game of the season! Baseball is all pretty new this year...so I do not know what expect. It will all be a new Discovery....but I am sure Lametown will runaway in Godspeed. Susan Constant could be a softball player's name...but I do not think we have a player with a such a name, I was just keeping the theme. I do not know much about this team...except Kayla St. John is usually on the mound, I nicknamed many people with word beginning with the letter b...and I am hoping we end up doing better than last year. I do not know much about my own team...so do you think I know much about Jamestown?!  But I will know, we all will know, today! Jamestown is not too far, closer than Great Bridge, I am sure you can see two games for the price of one....what a school...wait, I mean we do that too! At 4 where our country started...be there or be lame. Much luck to both!

Now we are back at tabb and are staying there, for there is a game at this location, boys soccer! This early in the season, we do not bother playing our district, but take the opportunity to get back at the Peninsula District. They dominate alll year...except in soccer! It is Bethel at home. I hear many are coming out and surprises will be around every corner...am I just saying this, so you will come out and see it...you are going to have to come out and see out then to find out the truth of the statement. This team is pretty new as well...but we still have some big names from last year from Maw-some, Sutton, and it goes without saying Adam Parker, also Riha...so we still have some noteworthy players...hopefully things will still end going as well as they did last year...I think I keep on speaking too soon today...I just have so many goals...speaking of goals you will see many tonight..and I am not being too hopeful there...I hope...so this is the one home game today, the one which is probably 5 minutes away from you, it is spring in high school sports....why not celebrate with soccer?...tonight at 7 at tabb, be there or be lame. Good luck.

Those be all  the games. go to one...but chose wisely!

WEDNESDAY ACTION

is just lacrosse. No real school sport, no offense...but at least it is something. The guys are away at Grassfield...which is another school I have no clue where the location is, but do know it is not anywhere close. The guys made the newspaper, the online newspaper, after their first game, so they are getting bigger...but playing a team no one has ever heard of....does not help that much...unless they are a super sweet team I have no idea about because I have knowledge of the sport...but still watch out for our guys...at 7 at Grassfield tomorrow. The girls be at home, which is the complex or York Middle, but they are playing a type of rivalry game...not Grafton yet (we still have not forgotten that note), but Poquoson. The battle for victory blvd....except as recognized as other matches. For the most part, women's sports are underrated, the girls do just as good as the guys...but they never show up in the online newspaper. ust keep winning and winning big and people will take notice...people even bigger than newspapers. Wo? I don't know...just play...at 7, i think? It is lax all day tomorrow, be there or be lame!

HE'S COMING

181958_1658335657178_7272913_n
It may look like he is ducked down in the backseat of a car so the driver will not realize he is there and that is because he is doing just that! Coach Ryan is coming back, he desperately wishes t see tabb soccer. He is not really allowed outside the rehab center, but that is not stop here. All week, which is a day, he has been sneaking into cars in hopes to make it back to Tabb and he has finally found a good one. Coach believe just watching tabb play will help him get clean. As he said to me when he called from a disclosed location.

"People make plans; fate makes them successful; and drugs make them fu-"

Like always we have to cut him off...the good part with Coach Ryan coming back to town is, we can help him get better. Rehab centers are nothing, but friends and family are everything. Intervention soon...but sssh he maybe reading...naw he has forgotten after al the stuff he has done! He told the blog speaks to him! If he ever makes it, keep an eye out...he is very good at hiding from people...especially those with authority.

Hey now, we are done. I am tired...I am going back to bed...spring break rocks! Here are shouties wishing luck  to girls and boys soccer, baseball and softball, let us all help Coach Ryan, and let's hope that it doesn't....oh, I am not going to say it...but have a good one. I will be here tomorrow, hopefully seeing you again. Out! Roll Tig!

Peace be with you.

03/12/2012

THEN MONDAY COMES...

We knew it would...the start of the week already...it came so fast...or did it really? It was just a regular weekend anyway...no big deal. Back to the ol' grind, as they say...however, we have sport games this week! Like everything starts up...and I am home...the musical is this weekend...and it is going to be warm. What else do you want?...besides days off. It is a Monday, new week, but it is not as bad as you think it is! Okay, I will stop ramblin' and actually just begin this things already! We have not done the count down in some time....so...3...2...1...

By the way, did you see that game on Saturday? Yo, Grafton has it going. You must admit they did play very well for a first appearance team...it is going to suck next year. Good part is, bball is over...wait that maybe the bad part...good is spring is here. Tomorrow is one of those days when like 5 different things goes on! That occurs much in the spring...the weather is so nice....everybody just wants to play...well everyone will tomorrow! Here is the rundown...

  • Baseball plays York at 4...in my schedule write up I actually forgot to put  a time...but baseball games are usually at 4, so I feelin' my odds for my guess. This is a big game...wait...crap...I messed up in the schedule again, York is Friday, Jamestown is today! This is still big...we are not rivals...but last year the Eagles beat us to advance in the playoffs...they lost the next round...but still, there is a story here. However, did both of us lose alotta talent...maybe this game won't be as huge...it is the battle of the rebuilding tomorrow at Jamestown at 4.
  • Softball, of course, plays at the same time and same place when baseball does. I cannot remember how Jamestown softball was last year....they have been very bad...or good...I did not pay attention. I might out my own words tomorrow! Or,I mean, our softball team showed much promise lat season, but kinda fell short a couple of times. Over the past year t hey  have gained more experience...have become more dangerous (have you seen the helmets they wear, that's why!)...so Jamestown will be biting some dust...or dirt...or whatever the brown is on the field.
  • Girls soccer is away...I think pretty far...like Great Bridge...is that in Chesapeake or Virginia Beach? I do not really know...but you can look it up! But...yeah...girls soccer...what can I say? They are back to their ol' routine...the season had not even started yet and they have been winning 6-0 and JV has been 14-0! Teams only get better as time goes by. This being their first game only  means an amazing opener. The team will play extra hard to get that win.  It will be so hard, Great Bridge cannot sport itself anymore! Tomorrow at 7  at  Great Bridge, if you make the trek, girls soccer will be kickin' it!
  • Boys soccer has a game against a team outside the district also, but they play them at home. Bethel is coming to her field. A bruin is like a bear from Bulgaria, it does not make sense it is a mascot. A tiger is from India?...Um...Kirby is from here! Anyhow, I have not known the boys scrimmage scores...if they are good or bad is beyond me...but we will all find out tomorrow. This is the PD, so nothing that challenging, wait until district play, so does the senior disappearance show...or is it the same ol' tabb soccer

All these gammes are tomorrow, so have a fun free night...tonight!

POPCORN'S PICKS

A90c7f5e25f2__1331565106000
As you can tell, Popcorn is not the happiest of all cats in the world...more than usual. He is just upset that he did not really get his "break". He only did not pick for aa week and now games are on Friday again....so it is back to the ol' grind for him too. Do not feel bad, Popcorn only works one day week, doing something that takes less than a minute to do. Sure, in a cat world, that is like a part time job, but Popcorn is more human than cat...what other cat has their own email address? I guess I am sorry Popcorn...but it has to be done...people love this section. Hopefully, that helps. Popcorn is known for his vanity. He did not like it, but he did pick some games...and here they are...

Okay...good news, for Popcorn, HR Varsity has not put up the spring schedule yet...so I do not really know what games are going on on Friday besides Tabb and York, which we all know is ggoing to be Tabb 100   York 0 ...fine, Popcorn you win...but as soon as those games get posted you are going back to work...and no biting as a defense!

PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

Boys lacrosse - for doing so, beating Great Bridge 12-1, well you made the newspaper

Girls lacrosse - for beating Menchville 15-4...but no HR varsity appearance?

Rachel Brewer, Bri Jasnak, & Lexi Williams - for all getting double scores in the soccer scrimmage against Denbigh

Grafton basketball - come on! They did good!....am I being too nice?

That is all I got...if I missed anyone then let it be known!

SPRING CLEANING

That is a very common thing to do in this season and I think we can all agree we need to do it. I will start cleaning out this blog...and see what I can find, we have alot here. I cannot do quotes forever like Baggett facts I am runing outof stuff or reusing things..so in spring we are bringing back a blast from the past...maybe not just the blog past, but the school's part period...or something from your past, I can find stuff. I keep everything, so I have alotttttaaa stuff! Trust me! It is a way to get rid of the ol' (word of the day), appreciate it, and then move on to the new crap. Remember when certain events happened...we do...it is time to relive them...in a way. Have another to contribute, let me know. Also, we will have a contest for best junk found sometime in the next few months. Starting on the first day of spring, which is like March 20?, or something along those lines, the blog will be cleaning, not just junk...but memories as well.

Yeah, this is it for the day...I do not have much shouties to give...and I am kinda hungry, need to shower, got an doctor's appointment, I just need to go...so have a good one and I will see you tomorrow with more...and hopefully it will be better than today..it wasn't that bad, right? Could've been worse, you'll see during cleaning! Not the same ol'! Roll Tig!

Peace be with you.
