QUITE FRIDAY
It is the end already...it has come so soon...it is not the end of all time...but just the end of the week...which, I don't know about you, but I am pretty happy about that...it sucked...but tonight is a night off...it is a 3-day weekend, concerning sport...well actually 4, but who is counting? It is not a real 4 day weekend! Anyhow, I got some good and bad today...all of which will make everyone happy it is the weekend...so with out further procrastinating I give you today's tabb blog entry, brought to you by: the weekend: too intense for weekdays!
PLAN B?
I feel that is what girls basketball is going by now. An unexpected mishap took place last at Smithfield...first, I thought this game was home? Did I write home? No one messed up right...if you did at least you did not have to drive far away...is that a good apology formy mistake...oh, like anyone shared the correct info! Anyhow, there a disturbance in the force...the tabb force...which is 500 times stronger than the regular force. Somehow, Smithfield discovered the strength, determination, agility, and spirit to beat Tabb. It is all nice they finally learned how to believe in themselves and win...but at all games...why this one? Couldn't it have been like Jamestown?! No one thought our girls would come out of this game defeated...it is not the end of the season. Girls basketball is just a fan of the theatrics. It is physcological, make Grafton think they are better, get the top seed, and then beat them in a rematch for the district tournament title. We are just performing some mind games here. Also, it was Smithfield's senior night...it was a nice gesture...Tabb is not dead...by far. Ever have an off night...ever read this blog when I write it at night?...yeah... the score was only 41 to 28 ... a little than we would like...but not a blow-out or...well the scorers were F-bomb blew 4, Pulverizing Piazza had 10, Mahan the Machine got 6, In-Cain shot 2, Merciful McFarlane put up 4, and Joker Joseph got double. The regular did not end on the highest not...but the district tournament will...which is Monday (no 4-day weekend) against Lafayette or Warhill at 7 at home...despite the loss, nothing has changed about our girls...trust me! So...be there or be lame!
It took a long time...alot of mental concentration....much planning....some start overs (or do overs?)...and a little bit of stress....but finally the math has been calculated and the results are glorious...there will be a Krista Meyers reunion...not...with the blog...but with her old family, the tabb field hockey family. As the picture reads: epic. How is this going down? It is no math miracle really.... I don't know...like field hockey always does some type of Disney field hockey tournament or showcase, so that is in Florida and so Krista, so they put two and two together and back again is Krista with the people she belongs with (no offense Florida State). Disney just got even better...not only Krista Meyers...but Tabb field hockey...it is not going to be the most wonderful place on Earth...but more like the universe! I guess the magic does exist...Disney kinda sucks to be honest...too many lines...but it won't suck this weekend...or however long the reunion is going on. I hope the reunion goes well...and maybe...I do not know...spring breakish...blog reunion?...feelin' it Krista? I mean...look at what this blog has become...I just write about stuff I know nothing about...because I have nothing else to write about...so...see ya on top of space mountain...
RESULTS SO FAR
This concerns Shaq Rodney's nickname...we have had so many votes so far...believe it or not...and a final nickname has not been chosen, we can eliminate a few from the list. First, obviously the Rod, is not helping anyone...I made that up the day before the competition. Then Shaq the Mack is looking to have the same fate. It is cool, many Baggettball player have rhyming nicknames, but Shaq's other nickname options are just better sounding, therefore terminating Shaq the Mack from the list. Now Sha-Rod is not done with yet...but is in a weak position. I do not think it is that bad...as a name that's origin is two names together...it could be worse...most people just think I am talking about a couple. Mr. MVP still reigns...but could be past it's prime...it came from Shaq's Player of the Year title last year...which he might not achieve again this year...though at Tabb we all believe he should no matter what. It maybe living in the past...still a reminder of how sweet he is. Then the Postman....which is basically a different wording of the nickname: the Mailman...which I think is Karl Malone...but Karl does not play anymore...so it does not really matter...maybe Karl will be flattered and come to a game...that'd be awesome! But yeah...that is how the nicknames are looking...chose between Sha-Rod, Mr. MVP, the Postman...or I guess just Shaq.
We are done for the day...we did not have much...but tomorrow will be worse...but still good. I can make something out of nothing...stayed tuned...so much is on the way...winter is far from over...I would not say far...but we still have a few miles to go...the trip is not ending yet...so hang on spring! Let me give a shoutie saying good job girls basketball, nice reunion Krista and all, any new nickname ideas...anyone?, and I have nothing left but to say have a good one and come back...seriously...help a brother out once and awhile too...as you can see I am far from knowing everything....not a few miles! I am hitch hiking sometimes...pick me up sometime, it'd be nice! So... good bye! Roll Tig!
Peace be with you.
Mr. Baggett can run a 90 second mile.
