LATE...OR LATER??

766c505bd730__1328462902000
I just like to look at it as later...I had a looonngg day yesterday. It was Mason's Homecoming! C'mon now! Here is a picture from the game...oh snap! There is George Mason himself! The bball team beat ODU 54-50...yes, it was a sloppy game...but good ending and that is all that matters for a homecoming game! When the game ended the players walked out through the student section and I was sitting on the ended and got to high-five each one! I almost got to touch Ryan Pearson's beard! I am never washing my hand again! GMU is in a three way tie for the top spot of the CAA - with Drexel...and VCU!! We play VCU on Valentine's Day...so we will give them a very nice broken heart! Tailgate was great, the game was, the after party, man, George Mason...wait this is the Tabb sports blog...not the mason one! I got a little far ahead of myself...but that was my day yesterday...so let us look at how Tabb's day was...

WRESTLEMANIA BRD STYLE

I am sure that there are many results from this two day event...but I only have the top story...the main event...the spotlight. You know what I mean...but before we get there, let me go through the team results. Tabb ended in 5th place with 134 points. It is not the best...but not the worst...in the middle is just the right place to be. Honestly, the tourney did not turn out the best for us at Tabb and it was in our house! There were 4 Tabb wrestlers in the finals...and only one won (those two words sounded too familiar!! Sorry to confuse anyone!) Hallowin' Harrell got a pin in 55 seconds...unfortunately Boyd and Hicks were not able to get pinned, but got pinned. Then something unspeakable happened...unforgivable, Hall from Jamestown...beat Junio! In an almost 6 minute match Junio was taken down...hey Tabb will not forget this! We'll get you back Jamestown! Also, there were Consolation matches...which means...ah...does someone want to help me out on that one?  Anyhow, they are lik other matches...okay I'll look up the word...okay means comfort after being getting a loss...so this like an everyone wins match...right? We only had two players in this event Sterolizing Starner and Hunkin' Hawes...Starner won a got won in 4-0, but Hawes didn't get the pin...but still did good. Everyone did good...though we did not have many wins...but everyone in the finals and the consolation and a few others qualified for regionals in late Febuary. Of course, Tabbmania was better...but Wrestlemania was alright...I do not think have much to be upset about...except Junio! Watch out! Good job all wrestlers!

SCHEDULE

This is like the last week of winter sports...like regular sports season. Next week the magic starts, the district tournament then the regional then the state then spring!! There is not much games going on, but these are the last ones at home for awhile...maybe...it depends where our teams are ranked whether or not we will have any home games..it is so-so for our teams. Just help celebrate the last week of winter (sports wize).

MONDAY: Indoor track against Bruton at 10

TUESDAY: Girls hoops AT/vs. Warhill at 7

WEDNESDAY: Baggettball vs. Smithfield at 7

THURSDAY: Girls bball AT Smithfield at 7

FRIDAY: NOTHING!! 3-day weekend...sports wize again...

Okay, it is usual week kinda...one game a day...but no Friday. Yo, it is a party weekend!! It is in honor of the winter sports...we had a pretty decent season...better than the fall...so enjoy the last week of me knowing when games are going on.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

We are talking about wrestling for the majority of the day...so with that we have a very special announcement we have been saving all week. There was someone who may have seen yesterday because he was not wrestling. A wrestler put in his resignation papers early. He went out on top and there is nothing better than that. Help me and honor the career and accomplishments of the man we all call King Kong Everhart.

Yeah he is peacing out. The season went well...maybe not as well as he planned...but he thought it would work out alot better by just retiring. We all remember his career highlights from that double back flip once, the pulverizer, making others numb, and most forfeits in the BRD history and the youngest wrestler to ever to win states and not even qualify to be there. He and us will have plenty of memories to recall from...and I am sure a hall of fame call soon enough. James, that was his real, will be enjoying retirement on the beach, playing rugby, doing yoga, breeding pugs, and training for the Olympics, which he does not have an invitation for...but did not stop him before! Best of luck to you, King Kong...you will always be the king of the jungle known as Tabb.

Um...are we done...um...yes...I have other stuff to do...hey it is a holiday and tomorrow is too...right? No class? Anyone?...Big game tonight...and oh, okay as we did last year we will have Popcorn predict the score

New York 27   New England 24

There is always a 3 point difference! I like to the Giants...Patriots win too much and I do not know how much of that is honest...the only Patriots I like are the George Mason Patriots1 Tonight is the battle of the New...yeah that is dumb...no wonder nobody uses it! So yeah that is tonight I know everyone or most will be watching. Look out for the Tabb Blog commercial!....Believe me...just wait and see...have a good one, good job wrestling, best wishes James, GMU is sweet, and that is all I got. See ya tomorrow. Roll Tig!

Peace be with you.

Anything that has Mr. Baggett in it is super.
