QUINCY IS NOT DEAD!!
Yes, we have so few new stories that we start with Quincy! I was just looking up different music last night and when I ended upon Los Mustache Trios and this picture arose.
Quincy faked his own death and assumed a new identity! He is now Qiuntos! You see Quincy...or Quintos...really did not like me bothering all the time. He was putting together a band and knew I would bug him to put them on the blog. Quincy did not want all the publicity, so announced himself deceased and still started his band...but decided to go with a more ethnic feel. It would be easier to hid the truth...so all the times people have stated they saw Qiuncy at game...it was actually him...not his ghost! What do I make of all this? Well, me being the sole purpose Quincy faked his death...I guess kinda makes feel bad...but by doing so he did give this blog so good material to write about...his band is not that bad...and I really like the mustaches...so let bygones be bygones! Los Mustache Trios will be making their North Atlantic Tour debut in a few weeks that will last until December...so Quincy is now gone off and is to busy to contribute. Maybe, he'll send us pics or videos from the road...probably not! I hope we keep in touch! So the Quincy death thing was a scam! Sorry if you fell for it! They are currently writing a song about this situation, you should check them out! They're not that bad.
One I will do with all this will award Quintos and his band best facial hair for the spring season....whether it is fake or not! His band did come out in the spring season...and everyone in it is from Tabb. This just says what a disappointment the facial hair scene was in the spring! There was really nothing! No honestly! Unless we give it to Thomas again, but he did not even do a sport! The closet was Chris Kegelman's sole patch on his chin...but that was barely any facial hair! So I guess Kegelman and Quintos and his band can share the best facial hair award for the spring!...Although I am not very proud of the facial hair this time around! I sincerely hope new beards and mustaches return for the spring!
What else do I have? Ah....I am still a little bummed from soccer...not like super bummed...and not only bummed for or team...imagine if Tabb and Jamestown...and they played in the state title game! That would the most epic game the Bay Rivers would have ever seen! That would put our district on the map! But it didn't happen...it is not to say our district is not the best...we have giv others a shot too! That game did not happen...who knows about next season...about any sport from Tabb!...I do...not really...but it is time for my predictions for next year for every sport at Tabb!
Football - There are many seniors leaving and a few holes that need to be filled...probably most on the line...but if these are filled I can see games going pretty good. Joe Nelson will lead the defense, Harley Page hopefully will top himself from season, and watch out for Junio! It will be his year! I am telling you 1000 yard club! I know I might be modest if I say they end up being 5-5...but I would like them to be that...I can see it happening!...oh, and Desmond Love is on the team now! It's staw!...still a dumb nickname!
Field hockey - I do not worry about Tabb field hockey. They can do whatever they please. 4-peat? Abosoloutely! There is no doubt in my mind about that! They did not lose that manyseniors anyway...they still have Aymonin, Jasenak, the Wusks', Peebles...enough talent to win a state title again! I just know things will end up good! They are the Greatest Show with Sticks! This is Tabb field hockey we're talking about...enough said!
Volleyball - I am one to talk about this sport, I know, but I see 2011 being an even better season! Did anyone leave? We still got Maniac Mack, the Galoozisgirls, the Shovel, the Bear...I don't see anyone new? They had a winning season last year and I see even more wins coming! Tabb will beat Grafton in volleyball! Mark my words! ...and someone special will show up to a game in the fall...yes I will!...No I promise!...No seriously!...Really! You'll see!
Cross Country - I never really had that many results on this sport...but Finkenhauer is still around....I think...so I think he'll do good again. He went to sates last year...I see his return in the fall!
Golf - I truly had NOTHING on golf...so I don't really know anything! I say they'll do better than those Williamsburg teams....they're good, right?
Baggettball - is this Baggett's last season. I keep hearing these horrible rumors? What is Tabb High without him? We need to go out with a bang! There were a few noteworthy seniors who left, but Shaq is still around, Joe does pretty good, and Will Baggett has the Baggett skill! The new members of the starting line-up need to step it up! If so I can see the team going as far as they did last year! Hey, c'mon this is Baggettball! We all know how it is played....by winning!
Girls basketball - There were only about three seniors who graduated...so it's kinda the same team. Piazza, Swenson, Mahan, Joseph...I can't recall everybody...it's been awhile...but hopefully the other teams lost some talent, so then our girls will rule the district! They did pretty descent last season and just fell short one game...I did not see any one falling short next season! A playoff spot will be Tabb's. Just wait and see!
Wrestling - this continues the year of Junio! I can see him doing even better at states! I am talking in the top 3 in his weight class! He won the district, the region, can he finally get states? Besides from Andrew...many who went to states were seniors...but we still got guys like Harrell...and a few others. I see Derek the Dingo doing better. He trains really hard in Australia in the summer! Okay, so I do not know many who are still on the team...but they got Junio...and that is good enough for me!
Swimming - Aah...yeah I really do not know that much about swimming. Katie O'Connell is good...she did really good at states this year...but Bowles is still around. I'm sure he'll do even better at states! Who else is still around Tapher, the Bear, Kimball?...usually Tabb did descent, so I am going with about the same...if not better...I hope...
Track/Indoor track - I put th two together because they are pretty much the same thing except for the setting and pretty much the same people do both. The one and only Kiara Porter is graduating...but everyone else from the 4 x 4oo team is still here, Aymonin, Soistmann, Omweg. I bet they'll do as good. I do not know about the guys...seem like I know many who are leaving....but our buddy Nick Curren is still here! I hope he has a great season! Tabb and track go together! o doubt we'll have some titles to add!
Boys soccer - this sport is kinda like football...like 12 seniors are leaving!...but there is still some good talent:Maw, Adam Parker, Sutton!, and a few more more coming up with some skills. I am not going to say they are going to be horrible....but I am not sure if we will see them back at the state semi-final. It maybe a sort of reconstruction, but I see Tabb soccer still being good...maybe not as much so the year before...but still good.
Girls soccer - I have already said this...but I will say so again...it is the exact same team...there are no seniors!...sure someone could move...but you know how this year's seniors in boys soccer went on that state run...that will be girls soccer next season!...and they could even win it all maybe! The only team is watch out for is probably Warhill...ow could that be a state final? So if you enjoyed girls soccer this year...you'll enjoy it even more next year!
Baseball - baseball seems to have lost many seniors as well. I mean their top 3 pitchers were seniors! Plus Corbett is gone now! Now this could be a reconstruction year! The Piped Phifer is still around...and there will be probably more new faces...but I trust in Baggett. He has good players up his sleeve. I am weary to say how good they will end up...but it is a Doug Baggett team...and they rarely disappoint!
Softball - did anyone leave this team?...I am not sure...Kayla St. John is still around and her career will get even better. She won't be a honorable mention in the district next season...like 1st or 2nd team...along with others on the team...c'mon Mur the Blur! The team started a little rocky at the beginning of this season...but no more rocks next season! They will as good...or maybe even better than baseball. You'll see what I am talking about!
Boys & girls lacrosse - lacrosse at Tabb has started a tradition of excellence. They always end up with a winning record! Girls only lost only 3 seniors...even if one of them is Bonnie Corrigan...boys lost about the same number...but again the teams always end up about doing the same. I am not too worried...and if this tradition continues who knows maybe someday soon we won't be referring to it as a club sport!
Tennis - I did not break this into sexes. It is all the same kinda. I am not sure who is still around? I hope the H Team is! You know who else is, Chiraag Shetty! Senior year, son! He is going back and taking states! He got this! It willnot be Chiraag Shetty Day...but Chiraag Shetty Year! That's all I need to say about tennis!
Okay, well I think that is just about every sport! We will see how well I am at predictions...hopefully Popcorn can eat his own words!
Before I finally go Ihave some sad news: Matt Jacobson did not win Prom King! I am not sure about Prom Queen though...or who actually won Prom King. He told me about his fate...and then probably went back to bed...prom does not end until like 5...and good proms do not end until 10 am! I'll find out if both my endorsements back fired :( Actually this just in...my endorsements did backfire! Matt and Dana did not win! Josh Milot and Emily Duke did...sure there is no real-life couple cuteness factor...but still congrats on winning! It was a blindside...at least on me!...My endorsements are losing credibility!...tomorrow the alumni association announces who was picked to be in the Hall...and we'll have more! Stay with us...just for a couple more days...please! See you then!
I'll end with the best picture I could find from prom...
Chris DiOrio sure knows how to pick up his date in a sweet ride!
Peace be with you.
