Why you should buy all your video games, and video game accessories at Amazon
Lets see, we have a Wii console, (2) Xbox 360 consoles (one wireless, and one non wireless), we have a PS2, an old Nintendo Console.. I could go on but I think I'm done boring you. Anyway, do you know where I bought all of those items Savvy Shoppers? Amazon.com. Yup, Amazon.com always seems to have the best prices, not to mention free shipping. And for most of the country, no sales tax to dish out unlike your purchase at say your local Best Buy or GameStop store.
We've been tracking Video Game and Video Game Accesssory prices at Best Buy, Game Stop, Amazon, Buy.com, Newegg, Walmart, Target, and a few others. What we noticed is that when those stores mark down video game consoles or accessories, so does Amazon. Not only do they usually match the price, but Amazon tries to drop a dollar or two to make you feel good about yourself Savvy Shoppers.
Amazon also sells their gift cards at local pharmacies and grocery stores. Whenever a family member asks me what restaurant I want my next gift card from for Christmas, I tell them Amazon.com! I'd like to pass on the obligatory Red Lobster or Outback Steakhouse Gift Card. Give me Amazon... please!
Another fantastic thing about Amazon is their Video Game and Video Game accessory reviews. Reviews from real customers just like me. Before I go out and spend $40-$50 on the latest shoot'em up video game, I have to check the reviews at Amazon. Why waste my money on a game 50% of reviews says is a 2 star rating Savvy Shopper?
Anyway, here are some Amazon links you should check out and even bookmark the next time you want to buy a good video game or video game accessory. I almost forgot.
