Having a tough time choosing "the" dress?
I’ve seen many a bride face the same dilemma; she’s narrowed her gown choice down to two or three favorites, but can’t seem to make a final decision. There are probably a few reasons why she can’t make up her mind. Maybe there’s a fear of commitment. Maybe she isn’t ready to quit shopping for dresses thinking there may be another dress out there that is perfect. Or maybe she is just afraid of having buyer’s remorse. Whatever the reason, I always tell brides to ask themselves a few things to help them make that ultimate decision.
Which dress fits the feel of the wedding most appropriately? Which dress do you think your fiancé would most like you in? Which dress makes you feel the most like a bride? Which dress would you be most upset about losing if someone told you it was no longer available or had been discontinued? Which dress will you look back at in 20 years and its style holds the test of time?
I often tell brides to close their eyes, relax and think about walking down the aisle on their wedding day. Then I tell her to open her eyes and point to the dress she saw in her thoughts. In the end, you have to go with your gut. Follow your instincts and you won’t go wrong!
