The Poquoson Golf team finished the season in fifth place this year
Christian Moore made second team all district and advances to the district tournament that will be held on October 4th and 5th at the Kingsmill Resort and Country Club.
Christian Conover and Blair Healy were named to the honorable mention all district team.

1. How many years have you been on the Varsity Golf team?
I have been on the team since my freshman year so this will be the fourth.
2. How is the team making out so far in the matches?
We started out poorly, but we have recovered and are almost even with fourth place.
3. What is your favorite course to play in the district?
My favorite course that we play this year will probably be Viniterra. It is probably the nicest course I’ve ever been able to play and it is only a few years old.
4. Whats your low score for the year so far?
My low score this year is 81 at Ford’s Colony.
5. Whats the best round you have ever posted while playing golf?
My best posted round was playing in the charity tournament at Cypress Creek, I ended up shooting a 76 or 77.
6. What is your favorite club in your bag?
My favorite club in the bag is the lob wedge (60 degree). I always use it within 100 yards and love spinning the ball which helps to my advantage.
7. What brand of clubs do you use?
I have a Callaway Driver and King Cobra irons with a Nike putter.
8. What brand ball do you use?
I use the Titleist ProV1x because I put enough spin on a ball around the green but has less spin off the tee
9. Besides golf, what other sports do you participate in?
Along with golf I play baseball and basketball.
10. When you aren't playing golf or baseball, what are some things you like to do?
When not playing golf, I like to go out fishing in the bay, working and cleaning my car, and going to the beach
