Poquoson High School celebrates 100 year aniversary
Poquoson High School celebrates 100 year anniversary this school year. With that in mind, please send me any pictures you have thru the years of sporting events. It can be any event or just pictures of anything activity related.
You can send them to me at robrollins23@yahoo.comor if you don't have them saved on a computer, send them to my home address, I will scan them and send them back to you. Daily Press: AA baseball: Poquoson overwhelms Brentsville 16-0 behind Crockett
Kyle Crockett enjoyed one final great memory on his home field at Poquoson High, pitching a two-hitter in leading the Islanders to a 16-0 victory over Brentsville District on Tuesday in the Group AA state baseball tournament quarterfinals. Now he'll get a chance to make some more memories at his second-favorite baseball venue, Calfee Park in Pulaski.

It's funny how little things have changed since Kyle Crockett and Chad
Pinder met each other as 10-year-olds the first day of practice for
their baseball travel team.
Crockett was the quieter one, and Pinder the leader of the pack.

Poquoson High senior Kyle Crockett is the Region I Baseball Player of the Year for the second consecutive season. Crockett earned all-region spots at two positions, pitcher and outfielder, and was joined on the first team by three Bay Rivers District players: Poquoson shortstop Chad Pinder, Jamestown catcher Scott Burkett and Tabb outfielder Corey Patrick.

The teams met in the AA state quarterfinals, with Poquoson winning 7-6.
