New Kent Field Hockey vs Southampton

The Lady Trojans hosted Southampton last night. The lady trojans won their 1st game at home with a score of 8-0. This is a young team with only 5 seniors returning, but last night they played very well. New Kent players that scored were Caroline Evelyn scored 3 goals. Carrie Daniel also scored 3 goals for New Kent. Other player for New Kent that scored goal were Kaitlyn McSweeney and Rebecca Butkus-Newman each had 1 goal. It was hard to pick a player for the game because of 2 player scoring 3 goals each, so the player of the game is Both Caroline Evelyn and Carrie Daniel. The lady Trojans Play again at 7 pm tomorrow night at home were they will host Bruton. Good Luck to both teams.

New Kent Volleyball vs York Falcons

The lady Trojans host the York Falcons last night. Both teams can to play. The 1st set was won by the trojans with a score of 25-17. The 2nd set went back and fourth, with York win with a score of 25-23. The 3rd set was won by New Kent with a score of 25-19. The 4th and final set was won by New Kent with a score of 25-12. Both teams played a great game. The Lady Trojans play again Thursday night at Smithfield.. Good luck New Kent Trojans.

New Kent Volleyball Vs Bruton Panthers

The New Kent Volleyball team hosted it first district meet of the year againt the Bruton Panthers. New Kent won all three sets 25-3, 25-8 and 25-11. The team is coached by Cynthia Burnett and Stuart Burnett. The team looks very well rounded. The next meet for the Trojans is Sept. 2 at Tabb High School. The next home match is Sept 7th vs York.
