New Kent hosted Warhill this afternoon, New Kent Player a very good game but came up short. They lost to the Lions with the score of 4-0. New Kent's goalie Maryon Wood had a lot of shots on goal, but only allowed 4 to get by. Good Luck to the Warhill Lions that will play Monday in the playoffs. They will face Tabb.

New Kent Field Hockey
The New Kent Field Hockey team traveled to Varina Tuesday night to play. The Trojans won the meet with a score of 7-2. New Kent had the following players that scored are Caroline Evelyn scored 4 goals Kaitlyn McSweeney scored 2 and Becky Butkus-Newman scored 1.

Today New Kent will host Warhill at New Kent @ 4pm today. This is the game that was postponed due to weather. This is New Kent's last home games.

New Kent Trojan Football Vs Lafayette Ram
The football game tonight at New Kent vs Lafayette has been postponed due to rain. They will play tomorrow night at 7pm at New Kent. This should be a very good game.

New Kent Volleyball vs Smithfield
Last night New Kent Lady Trojans hosted Smithfield Packer. The trojans won the meet 25-15, 25-22 and 25-16. The Trojans had just played the night before losing to Jamestown. The next meet for the Trojans will be Oct. 14 at Lafayette, Oct. 19 at Grafton, Oct 21 at Jamestown, Oct. 25 at Bruton and they will be back at home on Oct. 26 with Poquoson, this will be Senior night for the Trojans. The last regular season match will be Oct. 28 at Warhill.

New Kent Volleyball vs Jamestown
Last night the New Kent Lady Trojans faced Jamestown Lady Eagles in Volleyball. The players and fans on both sides were all ready for this meet. With both teams tied for second place behind Grafton. It was a very good start for the Lady Trojans, but they fell short. New Kent won the first set 25-23, but Jamestown Ladies came back in the second set and won 26-24. That got the Jamestown Ladies pumped up and they went on and won the next two set 25-14 and 25-22. New Kent did not give up. They may have lost to Jamestown, but will not stop them. New Kent Lady will be back on the court tonight to face Smithfield. Good Luck to both teams tonight at New kent

New Kent Field Hockey vs Southampton
The Lady Trojans hosted Southampton last night. The lady trojans won their 1st game at home with a score of 8-0. This is a young team with only 5 seniors returning, but last night they played very well. New Kent players that scored were Caroline Evelyn scored 3 goals. Carrie Daniel also scored 3 goals for New Kent. Other player for New Kent that scored goal were Kaitlyn McSweeney and Rebecca Butkus-Newman each had 1 goal. It was hard to pick a player for the game because of 2 player scoring 3 goals each, so the player of the game is Both Caroline Evelyn and Carrie Daniel. The lady Trojans Play again at 7 pm tomorrow night at home were they will host Bruton. Good Luck to both teams.
New Kent Volleyball vs York Falcons
The lady Trojans host the York Falcons last night. Both teams can to play. The 1st set was won by the trojans with a score of 25-17. The 2nd set went back and fourth, with York win with a score of 25-23. The 3rd set was won by New Kent with a score of 25-19. The 4th and final set was won by New Kent with a score of 25-12. Both teams played a great game. The Lady Trojans play again Thursday night at Smithfield.. Good luck New Kent Trojans.

New Kent Volleyball Vs Bruton Panthers
The New Kent Volleyball team hosted it first district meet of the year againt the Bruton Panthers. New Kent won all three sets 25-3, 25-8 and 25-11. The team is coached by Cynthia Burnett and Stuart Burnett. The team looks very well rounded. The next meet for the Trojans is Sept. 2 at Tabb High School. The next home match is Sept 7th vs York.
