There's no particular order of importance to the three things. They are just interesting facts about the city of Williamsburg, Va., that we wanted to share today.
1. Williamsburg is considered "the birthplace of America" because of its role in the history of America.
2. One of the presidential debates between Republican President Gerald Ford and Democratic candidate Jimmy Carter was held at the College of William and Mary in 1976.
3. Colonial Williamsburg, or CW, which is what the locals call it, has more than 500 18th century buildings, some original and some reconstructed.
