KHS Pitcher/Outfielder ranked 44th in top high school prospects

Jake Cave was ranked 44th by Baseball America in the top 100 High School prospects.

Jake Cave, a highly touted baseball prospect, who is a pitcher and outfielder signed with LSU today. Jake's fastball hits in the low-mid 90's and he also brings a bat to the table. The Tiger's will be lucky to have him on the team next year!

Jake Cave excels in Aflac All-American Game

Southpaw Jake Cave (Hampton, Va.), who started the game in center field, sealed the victory with a 1-2-3 ninth that included two strikeouts. Cave wasn't the hardest thrower of the day (his fastball sat at 86-90 mph), but he kept hitters off balance. Baseball America calls Cave "a legitimate two-way threat."

Kecoughtan player part of Aflac All American Game roster

Kecoughtan High School Varsity Baseball pitcher/outfielder Jake Cave was on the Aflac All American Game East roster which was played on August 15. The East won the game against the West 5-3. Congratulations to Jake for making the team!
